My work scrutinizes the entanglements of photographic representation, invention, and authenticity. I work with the mechanics of desire, intimacy and fantasy utilizing collage, photography, painting, and sculpture. I am influenced by California history, the paradoxes of a suburban upbringing and my increasingly complicated relationship with nature.
